    Description

    Welcome!
Offering... a fabulous and very rare hand crafted from ingot, early century Navajo bracelet of exceptional quality and beauty, dating to the 1920s with three large bright blue oval natural turquoise stones, hand carved base shaped to frame the applied raindrops and center stone shapes, a very rare and beautiful scalloped element, and wonderful expensive and gorgeous hand stamping on the sides to the terminals. The larger center stone measures about 3/4" wide x 9/16" high in size and the width of the bracelet measures 3/4" at the center, tapering to about 3/8" at the rounded terminals. The internal length of the bracelet is about 5-1/2" for the silver alone, with a gap of about 7/8" for a total of 6-3/8". The bracelet has a weight of 34.7grams. It is of course unsigned by the artist and not marked of silver content which is usual for the very old pieces, but it is guaranteed to be at least coin silver ingot at .900 to sterling at .925 silver. Although you can see some shallow cracks to one of the stones and the turquoise shows some wear in general, they are very secure and not in danger, and the overall condition is great vintage, wearable and collectible. When a bracelet is this old it's appropriate and reassuring that it shows wear.
The age is right for about the 1920s and the quality is top notch. It's a well made and impressive piece I enjoy wearing alone and also enjoy combining it with other very old bracelets as a grouping. It combines very well with other old pieces and it stands out as a spectacular example.
It doesn't get more collectible than this! This is one I personally love and love to wear often.

International buyers pay actual shipping cost if I’m shipping myself rather than using eBay’s Global Shipping service, and International buyers are responsible for any customs fees their own countries may apply. It's less expensive and is also tracked. First Class International is no longer offered by the US Postal Service. I charge the actual shipping cost and since shipping to each country costs a different amount, I will charge a little extra and refund the exact difference once I can put your address in and print a shipping label. I am no longer shipping to Italy and China, but can make exceptions if you speak with me about it, especially if you are a prior customer.

When I include pages from published books in my listings it is in accordance with Fair Use Law, which permits the use of source material for discussion, reference, education and criticism.
Attributions on many of the old pieces of Native American jewelry are sometimes a moving target. All the books have errors, so in addition to counterchecking, I have developed some expertise over the years and I do care about getting it right, so as more information comes to light I update my listings and also get in touch with my previous buyers, to inform them of any changes in attributions. I am sincerely committed to ongoing accuracy.

I want you to be able to rely on me for top quality, superb items that are often unique and rare examples of old antique vintage southwest, indian, native american and fine gold and gemstones, whether you're starting a collection or adding to one, or want something great to wear or gift.
