1930s White Co. Left Facing Bobbed Hair Carved Shell Cameo Brooch

Description

Very good vintage condition.  Minimal fine surface scratches, gold finish wear/patina on the fine filigree setting.  Cameo is a unique left facing profile of a lovely bobbed hair lady, with a distinctive air of grace.  Carved shell is excellent condition and appears to be free of cracks or damage.
Pin is secured using what appears to be a pre-cursor to the common rollover clasp.  It is secured by a lever you push up to lock, push down to unlock (the opposite of what you do to secure a rollover clasp).  Pin is signed WHITECO (For White Company, formerly White Manufacturing Co.).  There are not other markings, so this is likely gold washed since White Co. marked gold filled pieces as such.
