    A Super Rare Handcuff From
    π•±π–—π–†π–“π–ˆπ–Š
I only know of about 12 or less of these in the world.
I do not know what agency used these or it was police, prison or military issue.
The cuff is in very good shape and features adjustable settings by lifting the spring loaded tabs or posts and setting the chain down so that the post
goes thru the chain at the proper position and then the key is used to prevent pulling the tabs up again.
As this is cumbersome to apply upon a suspect, I believe it was used in a more secure setting such as in a jail or prison.Β  It would take some cooperation of the prisoner to apply this cuff on the wrists.
The key is NOT original to the cuffs but it does work very well.
The pull rings are also not original.Β  They are just key rings.Β  I would suggest finding a tradesman who could replace the pulls.Β  It is a very simple metal ring and is the reason this cuff is missing the pair.Β  I have included a pic of the same cuff in my collection that shows what the original rings look like.Β  My pair is NOT included...it is for comparison only.Β  The last picture is for informational purposes only.Β  The leg iron seems to be the mate to the cuff listed for sale. This is what the original cuff key looks like.
The chain and keys are the same.Β  It works very similar as well.Β  This massive item seems to be best suited for jail or prison use too.
Other than that, the cuff is in perfect working condition and there are no repairs, dings, pings or any other blemishes.
A very small spot of rust exists but it can be easily removed with mild abrasive or chemical rust remover.Β  It is just on the surface and not deep at all. A very easy fix but I never clean these rare items.Β  I let you decide if you wish to clean them.
I paid over ,700 many years ago for the one in the picture and a few of the other ones I know about sold for just over ,000.
I am starting this one at 5 as I realize the market is not what it used to be.
Rare cuffs still do well in today's market, so this will be an interesting sale.
The cuff looks better in person as my camera has a tendency to highlight the smallest marks or spots.
This is one of the better examples of these that I know of.
    You will be pleased.
I thank you for your interest and looking at this item.
