Antique WW1 Royal Navy Sailor Metal Cap Box.
It shows a lot of wear.  It belonged, I believe, to a signal or communications man.   It has his name and serial number.  The box is difficult to close due to the denting on the edges.  Any info on this I would appreciate.  My father served in WW2 with the British Merchant Marines.  It has a diameter of 10.5", and it is 7" tall.
