This listing is for a beautiful and very rare factory original Gibson USA Les Paul Gold Anniversary Model Hard Shell OEM guitar case. Please see all pics for details, Q's welcome.
As you can see, it has a metallic gold exterior with the Gibson logo on the lid and a super plush black interior.   There's a nice padded handle on the side and accessory pocket to store a tuner some extra strings strap and picks etc.
Most of these cases stay with the Les Paul guitars, so you'll rarely see one like this.
Since it was a special Anniversary Model, Gibson no longer makes this case, and you can't even order one from them, at any price.
The case originally came with a brand new Les Paul.  Like any used case it's not perfect.  T
he exterior has some minor scuffs or scratches from being handled and stored, but nothing major.  There's a factory installed, padded faux leather type handle on the side that has average wear and scuffing from use, see pics, nothing that harms the handles performance, you could wrap it to protect it if desired. Otherwise, the case still looks great and is in very good condition.  There are no cracks splits or repairs anywhere on it.  The interior is super clean and like new.  All of the hardware is intact and everything works properly. These cases have an aluminum frame, and even the brand new ones, have some minor scratches in the aluminum.  There's simply no way to avoid them, and all of the cases come from the factory that way, from being stored and handled.
The case has a large accessory pocket to store your strap picks capo a small tuner and extra strings etc.  There's also a lock on the side to secure your guitar while it's being stored or transported and the lock works fine.  We don't have a key for it but those are often listed on eBay.
Since it has symetrical shape, the case will work with both a right hand / RH or left handed / LH Epiphone or Gibson LesPaul R6 R7 R8 R9 R0 1956 1957 1958 1959 1960 Flametop Flame top ReIssue Custom Shop Class 5 Elegant Historic Pro Special Standard Supreme Junior Jr or Ultima type electric guitars as well as many other models and brands that have a standard Les Paul shape.
The only Les Pauls that will not work are the SG type double cutaway SG's from the early 60's (and the Custom Shop ReIssue version) as well as the Les Paul Paul Personal model.
If you have a Les Paul, you really need the factory Gibson case, not only to protect your guitar, but also maintain the maximum value of it.
