    WHAT IS GREAT ABOUT IT: this ring is
    gorgeous
    ! The central natural turquoise with intense and smoky coloration, probably Smoky Bisbee mine, is set in a shadowboxed setting and surrounded by four hand made leaves each separated by an applied raindrop. The leaves undulate and the piece has excellent dimensionality while maintaining a low profile. The work is all hand constructed, and has a wonderful age patina, probably dating to mid-century. The shank is chisel split for comfort and the piece, though unsigned, was made by a masterful Navajo artist. Comfortable and collectible. It's a beauty.
