This authentic antique Chinese wedding chest is hand-painted by Californian Wine Country Napa Valley artist (M. Lily) whose signature can be found inside the left door. She was commissioned by Rosewood House lead designer, Jane Tai, to paint the cabinet. It's one piece in a series of a dozen pieces total. Buttery yellow country cottage tones are accented by the vibrant oranges and golds of California wildflowers, stretching gracefully across the front doors.  Inside, the contrasting dark, rustic grain of the original elm wood can be seen, along with the substantial structural beams that give this chest its sturdiness. Consider a mural for your home in the shape of a cabinet and spare your walls for the swiss coffee =)
With two large front doors opening to a spacious main section, and eighteen smaller drawers, surrounding them, this piece has storage space to spare.  Each of the smaller drawers is as deep as the main chamber, providing ample space inside and a great way to tuck items out of sight, while also adding warmth and color to a room.
Hand-painted ring pulls on each of the smaller square drawers match the hardware on the larger drawers and the moon medallion on the front, which comes with a coordinating pin latch.
