    Description

    Compound Water Bottle Pottery. 10 ½" h x 8 ½" w - Found in Blytheville, AR - Mississippian Culture A.d. 1200 A.D. to 1600 A.D. Ex Bill Rowlett and Len Weidner collections. It is made of Bell Plain type paste, has a very good finish and is 100% complete and solid. There is a chip on the rim. This bottle in a jar has great fire marks and is a wonderful example of Mississippian pottery.
