This lightweight high-torque gear reduction starter clears all headers and oil pans where original equipment starters won't. The PowerMax starter is a great choice for the everyday driver that has stock compression and timing. Starter works with most oversized kickout oil pans. Features 160 ft. lbs. of torque and a 4.4:1 gear reduction ratio. Fits Chevy small block and big block V8 applications.

Summary:
The starter worked fine. The wiring diagram was a little complicated to understand. I had a 3rd wire coming to my old starter but the new start only had positions for 2 wires. I took a chance and wired it up and it worked the first time. Great product other than the complicated wiring diagram.

Bolted right up. Didn"t need to use shims. And it works . Hope this lasts longer than the Jegs mini starter that only lasted 11 months.

Return Policy
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If within 60 days after you receive your shipment and you are not satisfied, you may return the item for a refund. Refunds will be processed (1-2) days after the item is received by Speedway. All returned merchandise must be in original factory condition with no modifications or alterations. A restocking fee up to 15% may be applied if items are not in new condition.
Returned merchandise must include all packaging materials, warranty cards, manuals, and accessories. If the items being returned need to be repackaged, there will be a repacking charge. Repack the item in a sturdy box, include a copy of your invoice and complete the form on the back of the invoice. You must ship orders back PREPAID. WE DO NOT ACCEPT COD SHIPMENTS.
