    Fantastic Mimbres Picture Bowl depicting a turtle with a star on its back.  Measures 8" across X 3 3/4" High, circa 600-1100 A.D. Fine line geometric pattern with two narrow horizontal bands on the rim. Reassembled from pieces with restoration over the break lines . Original kill hole. In native mythology the world is riding on the back of a turtle. Purchased from Skinner auctions in May of 2020 for 3,125.00. See COA from skinner in photos.
