Rare German WWII Antique Handcuffs Police Prison Restraints Old w/ Working Key

An outstanding example of post World War II era German swing beside handcuffs.  Fully operational and double lock and unlock with included original key.
The key is turned one way to unlock (and un-double lock) and the other way to double lock.
Each cuff has the words Schutzmarke "Deutsche Polizei" engraved on it as well as ZU and AUF which mark the directions in which to turn the key to unlock (and un-double lock) or double lock. An iron cross is also stamped on the lockcase.  The Word "Schutzmarke" means "registered trade-mark". This term has only been in use since 1950 when all official marks containing "Deutsches Reich" were eliminated.
Very restrictive hinge design.  A popular application is to apply with the subject's wrists being parallel behind their back.  This is a very uncomfortable configuration and limits motion more than chain connected handcuffs.
