Description
Welcome.WHAT IS GREAT ABOUT THEM: this beautiful entirely hand made graduated strand of Navajo Pearls has subtle stamp work. Each bead made by hand, has flanges at the holes on the sides, and they are perfectly made. The size graduates from the large center bead down to the smallest beads at the terminals but it's a very good size. It works well by itself or mixed with other necklaces. It has a hook and eye closure and it is strung on heavy foxtail chain, which is most flexible and strong. Overall, a wonderful older collectible piece that is superb in every way.
CONDITION: excellent vintage, wearable and collectible.
MEASUREMENTS:
• bead size graduates from 5/8" at the center down to 3/8" at the terminals
• unmarked for metal content but it's sterling silver .925
• unsigned which is common for the times, and the artist is unknown
SUMMARY:
Splendid strand of beads, all hand made, and those stamped are hand stamped, the ones nearest the terminals are not stamped, graduated sizes ranging from 5/8" at the center to 3/8" at the terminals, strung on foxtail chain, flexible and strong. These beads are called Navajo Pearls because they go with everything, and are always suitable. They are perfect, alone or mixed with other necklaces or pins. This is a classic old piece and you'll always enjoy it forever! Very fine and suitable for the best collections. They can date from any time from the 50s through the 70s in my estimation. Elegant always.
Superb, old, elegant, highly collectible hand made and stamped silver beads.

Attributions on many of the old pieces of Native American jewelry are sometimes a moving target. All the books have errors, so in addition to counterchecking, I have developed some expertise over the years and I do care about getting it right, so as more information comes to light I update my listings and also get in touch with my previous buyers, to inform them of any changes in attributions. I am sincerely committed to ongoing accuracy.
