Vintage Tibetan Chest

This vintage Tibetan chest is colorfully decorated to represent the exotic Tibetan culture and its expressive art style. The vibrant use of colors directly reflects the personality of Tibetan people who are passionate with life. The restoration to this Tibetan cabinet was done by the local artisans. Traditionally, Tibetan cabinets were used for the storage of anything from foodstuffs to religious objects. Instead of swinging on attached hinges, the doors pivot on round pegs. With two double door compartments, this rectangular cabinet provides ample of storage room and is an exotic addition to family rooms, dining rooms, or bedrooms.
